Students in grades 8 through 12 recently engaged in a half-day spiritual retreat named “Re-Ignite,” which took place on April 25th.
Held from 8:45 a.m. to noon in the ACS gym, Re-Ignite featured moments for praise and worship, prayer, sharing testimonies, and receiving uplifting messages from three local pastors: Pastor Zaharias Caracostantakis from Catch the Fire Ministries, Pastor Harry Warner from Fusion Church, and Pastor Joe Stoop from Wellspring Church.
“We’re grateful for the unique messages delivered by each pastor and for the worship leaders who contributed to this event,” said Chief School Administrator Karen Oblen.
Prior to each pastor’s message, worship teams led the students in singing and glorifying God. During breaks, students had the chance to join prayer groups or seek guidance from faculty and staff members, many of whom participated in prayer sessions with the students. Additionally, students courageously shared personal testimonies illustrating how their faith in God had helped them overcome various challenges.
