Thank you so much to former ACS Staff Anne Dice and her daughter, ACS Alumni Lydia Dice, for visiting ACS and conducting a free Anxiety Workshop for parents last Monday, March 25.
Anne and Lydia co-authored the book “Mommy, There’s a Shark in the Pool!” which encourages families struggling with anxiety. They shared their testimony on the healing power of God’s Word and discussed how Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Therapy align with God’s Word. Additionally, they provided insights on how parents can teach deep spiritual truths from the Bible to their children. They shared how they navigated and overcame Lydia’s anxiety when she was young and offered tips on introducing God’s Word to combat the fears she faced.
