Atlantic Christian School celebrated the many accomplishments of our 8th-grade students at the 8th Grade Blessing Ceremony on June 11, held in the ACS gym. This special event marked a significant milestone as our students prepare to enter high school.

The ceremony began with words of encouragement and challenge from our Chief School Administrator Karen Oblen, who urged the students to put God first above all things and to shine the light of Jesus wherever they go. She quoted Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”

The 2024 Class Valedictorian, Evangelina Kim, addressed the outgoing 8th-grade students with inspiring words, highlighting the importance of perseverance and faith. Faculty members DJ Keller and Laura Mills also shared their thoughts and support, offering guidance and encouragement to the students. Board Chair Chaz Wyckoff gave the closing remarks, and Faculty Scott Carr led a heartfelt prayer over the students, asking for God’s blessings on their new journey.

We are proud of each of our 8th graders and pray that God will continue to guide and bless them as they transition to high school. May they continue to grow in wisdom, faith, and character.
