Our 17th annual Race for Education was a fun-filled day with cool fall weather perfect for walking and running around our track to help raise funds for our school. A new obstacle course for our middle school students added a challenging twist to their Race time.
There were lots of family members cheering on our students, and the Chick-fil-A cow came to give our students high-fives.
Thank you to our event sponsors – Chic-fil-A Fire Rd., The Miller Family, Bill and Cris Clark, Macbrair And Vanaman Families, and J. Wilhelm Roofing Co. and to our 25 Classroom Sponsors and hundreds of other Race donors.
Race Day was also Harvest Day for our preschool and elementary students. They enjoyed picking pumpkins, taking a wagon ride, playing ga-ga ball, going on a scavenger hunt, and much more.
Thank you to the dozens of parent volunteers and our dedicated staff who helped make our Race a super success.
Donations are still being accepted and can be made in the school office or online through the ACS website. CLICK HERE to donate now!

We’re very proud of every student and all our teachers who participated in this year’s race! Seventy-two students completed at least 16 laps (4+ miles!) during their one-hour time slot. The girl and boy in each class who completed the most laps will receive special recognition during a December chapel as will the student in each class with the most sponsors and the top student fund-raiser overall.
