We are the Champions!!! Congratulations to our Lady Cougars Soccer team for breaking an ACS girls’ record for winning 4 consecutive Championships!

The girls’ took first place in a very tight game against #2 Pilgrim Academy. Pilgrim scored first and Maddie DeNick tied the game just before the end of the first half. With the score tied 1-1, neither team scored in the second half or the following two 10-minute overtimes. The Championship was won on penalty kicks with Maddie DeNick, Emily Kelley and Eden Wilson connecting with the back of the net for the win. It was such an exciting finish to a fantastic season.

All-Stars were announced this weekend too. ACS’ Chloe Vogel won Most Valuable Player for the girls while Eden Wilson, Paige Noble, and Shelby Einwechter were voted to the First team All-Stars. Second-team All-Stars are Emily Kelley, Sydney Pearson and Olivia Chapman. ACS Women’s Coach Carly Witherow was voted Coach of the Year for the first time.

The ACS boys’ team finished in 4th place with a tough loss to Gloucester County Christian School 3-2. Ben Noble and Dan Roland both scored for the Cougars. All-Stars for the boys’ team include Ben Noble on First Team while Mark Rosie and Aaron Glancey were elected to the Second Team.

Congratulations to all for a great soccer season!
