Atlantic Christian School is happy to have 14 international students this year coming from Belgium, China, South Korea and Taiwan.

Last week, ACS parents, Ben and Dana Norris and their two sons, hosted an authentic, homecooked Korean meal for our 7 Korean students and Rev. Leo Park from the Korean United Methodist Church in Egg Harbor City. Rev. Park leads a chapel service for these students in the Korean language once a month. The meal included Japchae, Bulgogi, Dukbuk, Kimbop, Kim Chi and eggrolls.

Mrs. Dana Norris was born in Korea and moved to the United States when she was 3 years old. She currently serves as a classroom aide at the Monmouth Ocean Educational Services Commission. Her mother was the cook of this wonderful family style dinner of Korean food and fellowship.

We are thankful for the Norris family and others who work hard to welcome and help our international students while they are studying in the United States. If you would like to get involved, please contact Jessica Martin, Director of Admissions and International Student Program.
