The Class of 2021 led the Upper School Chapel on Wednesday, May 19 and began the program by announcing the dedication of the yearbook to ACS school nurse Carrie Jorgenson. Yearbook advisor Tori Flath surprised Mrs. Jorgenson with the dedication and said Upper School students and yearbook volunteers had voted to dedicate the yearbook in honor of the school’s hard working nurse. Mrs. Flath read the dedication that the students had written and presented Mrs. Jorgenson with her special copy.
The Senior Chapel continued with a baby photo trivia, worship led by seniors Rebecca Kimmerley and Sydney Pearson, and sophomore Tommy Ellison; prayer by senior Malachi Green; and messages delivered by seniors JJ Jacoby and Jacob Rosie.
The seniors also answered questions about their plans for the future, shared their advice for other students, and talked about their favorite teachers and school memories.
The chapel ended with a closing prayer from ACS Bible Teacher Zach Monroe.
