May 1 was the National Day of Prayer and ACS took special time during the Elementary and Upper School Chapels to pray for our country, families, leaders and more. ACS is happy to be able to participate in the official day that the United States has set aside to pray and teach the students how important prayer is.
Elementary Principal Bethany Kiefer led the 1st-5th grade students in a lesson on prayer in general as well as . Each class had a worksheet to fill out on different items that they could pray for.
The Upper School also took time at the beginning of chapel and had a couple of Juniors and Seniors lead their classmates in prayer for the different highlighted areas.
