ACS middle and high school students celebrated the good news of Christ’s birth through instrumental and vocal music at the Upper School Christmas Concert, “A Joyful Celebration,” on Thursday, December 12th. The concert was directed by ACS Director of Choral and Instrumental Music, Mr. Jaron Beadle.
Upper School Principal, Meg McHale, opened the concert with a prayer followed by the Middle School band’s rendition of “Bell Carol Rock,” “Mary Did You Know” and “African Noel.”
Soloist, Ashleigh Martin, beautifully sang “Who Would Imagine A King” and the High School Choir performed “Breath of Heaven” and “Do You Hear What I Hear.” Take Note Ensemble sang “Silent Night” and “Speak The Name.”
Mr. Jaron Beadle and Mrs. Kelly Flynn provided the special music during the love offering and the concert concluded with the Middle and High School Choir’s rendition of the “Hallelujah Chorus.” ACS Chief School Administrator, Mrs. Karen Oblen, gave the closing prayer.
