On Thursday, April 17, Atlantic Christian School students and staff gathered in the gym for a special all-school Easter Chapel to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus—who died for our sins and rose again to give us salvation and eternal life.
Students from PreK3, 4th grade, the Elementary Worship Team, and the High School Worship Team led the school community in worship. Their songs reminded us of the true meaning of Easter.
ACS parent Mr. Lee Martin shared a thoughtful message that encouraged everyone to reflect on what it means to truly SEE Jesus this Easter season. Mrs. Genevieve Huff’s Drama Workshop class also gave a powerful presentation highlighting the many distractions that can pull us away from a closer relationship with Christ.
Pastor Paul Jones led a prayer of dedication for the students who will be going on mission trips during Easter break, asking for God’s protection and blessing as they go out to serve others.
