Serving Others…Serving God
The Servant’s Heart Club is an after-school activity designed to foster a love for serving others, teaching children to serve God with all of their heart and to cultivate unity at ACS. The club is open to all students in the 2nd-5th grades and meets the first Tuesday of each month during the school year. In addition to doing various service activities, there is a time for fellowship and games that help build unity within the student body.
Service activities that the club has conducted include: making snack bags and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, wrapping Christmas boxes for Operation Christmas Child, planting trees and promoting recycling on Earth Day, and making salvation friendship bracelets to gift to children in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
