Students in the fall after-school Dance class pointed their toes, twirled, leaped, and performed demi-plies for parents and friends at their showcase on Wednesday, November 9 in the Multi-Purpose Room. The showcase was the culmination of a six-week dance session where students from kindergarten to the 4th grade met on Wednesday afternoons to learn ballet, tap, and jazz and learned basic steps, techniques, and terminology. The class was led by instructor Marilyn McElroy of Dance Forum South.

“Crazy for Crafts” is a new after-school class that will begin on Monday, November 14. Meredith Punt of The Clay Station will be leading this three-class session, which is open to K-5 students. Classes will be held from 3:15-4:30 p.m. Class fee is $70. The full schedule of fall classes is also posted on the website. Classes are open to ACS students and non-ACS students.
